The rich have used their money to brainwash the masses so well that the masses are willing to defend them against their own working-class neighbor, talk about some jedi mind games! Your fellow worker wants and deserves higher pay, but you are so brainwashed by these billionaires into believing that they are the best of us, the most intelligent of us, the most moral of us, the zenith of what it means to be a successful human being, etc. that you're willing to throw people who are working class just like you under the bus, speak out against their needs, lie about them, and worse, in defense of people who do not give two shits about you. it is wild to see this every time, and some of you are doing this because you believe that doing so and maintaining the status quo keeps open the door of possibility that you or your children may one day make it to the mountaintop and be a millionaire and billionaire themselves, not realizing that these millionaires and billionaires have rigged the system to make sure that if you make it, it will be nothing short of a modern-day miracle, iust unbelievable. The worker productivity has skyrocketed since the '80s, and yet these people have bribed politicians on both sides of the aisle to keep wages stagnant so that they can maximize their profit and power (another piece of fuckery made possible by ronald fucking reagan), and you're out here defending them? Some truly sorry motherfuckers you are, give those waffle house workers their raise without raising a single penny on anything on the menu. Those shareholders and business owners don't need another yacht!
