SM SAID:

You Are Not Black! - (Copyright to All Transition)

In the World full of misconception, who decided that 'BLACK' was the Label to used to identify Global Descendants of Africa, irrespective of the boat stop ...

Our Oppressors gave us the Label 'Black', and, we ran with it, as this was the more acceptable term for us as people; than that of The N Word, Being called 'Coloured', 'Slave' or any other derogative term.

Black is not a 'colour', as it is the absence of colour itself, there is no light in the world of 'black', yet it's opposite 'white', is classed as a colour, for 'white' is the 'blending' of all colours ... hmm... Is this the essence of the theory "diluting" ...

Our Oppressors labelled us as 'Black', for 'racial classification, ethnicity or Nationality', yet, Black is not a colour, Black is not a Race, Black is not an Ethnicity and Black is not a Nationality, so Why are we Labelled as Black people Generically across the Globe ...

Black seems subjective, generally across the globe and even within our communities, as logic would dictate we are not BLACK!

Depending on the Country who defines their members of society as Black, would determine the perception of that Black person and the subconscious trains of thought, to how they perceived any other Black member. Different societies differ on the criteria used to classify an individual as Black, where those social constructs include negative labels such as dirty, dark, untrustworthy, bad, evil, and many other derogative labels ... Do you see the pattern/theme of the labels given to us as people throughout the eras ... regardless what we are called, there is always a negative or derogative essence attached.

Many of our Nation become divided from this indifference to be associated or defined as 'black' for Black is reductive, Black is unrepresentative to those the label is attached, hence why many will not want to associate with being BLACK!

The term BLACK was given to all Non-Europeans, those deemed a 'person of colour'...Similar to that as Black British or African American. Hence why we must be mindful that a label we are given which separates us from the larger members of the society we reside is again divisive and part of an agenda to keep us separated. Ask yourself, why are we as Black people not just called British like all others, why are we called African American instead of just American like all others, because we are still in 2017 not seen as equal members of state or citizens of the Country we reside, for those labelS derived from slavery and was upgrade within each era to soften the blow to us as people, it is a sociopolitical construct.

Within this Page, we will aim to help share information on Labels and the power of Language for us to truly understand why we as Global Descendants of Africa, irrespective of the boat stop; struggle to accept one another, creating further division and hindering us from uniting as One Nation.
