This is a victory for survivors of child rape!

Huge: Tennessee has passed HB1663 to allow the death penalty for child rapists.

The vote was 77 to 19. The 19 who voted against it are all Democrats. You have to see the evil way Democrats opposed it.

Pro-abortion Dem. Rep. Aftyn Behn called it “incompatible with the right to life.” Yes the lady with a planned parenthood endorsement on her site actually said that in defense of child rapists.

Aftyn supports killing unborn babies but not killing child rapists. Other TN Democrats like Gloria Johnson and Justin Jones also opposed the bill alongside Aftyn.

This video of the floor vote should disgust you. I sensed that even Aftyn knew how bad it looked when she gave up her speaking time. Representative Lamberth was a true hero of survivors in his responses where he read letters from the survivors. You should listen to every word.

We pushed very hard for this bill when an illegal immigrant was caught last year after raping over a dozen kids where I live in Franklin, TN. We promised we’d make the death penalty a reality in TN and our friend Rep. William Lamberth took this fight on for us, listened to brave survivors who’ve been calling for this and made it happen alongside The TN Senate GOP and TN House GOP.

Now this bill goes to Governor Bill Lee’s desk to be signed into law. Child rapists will have no safe space in Tennessee.
