The Tignon Law was put into place to shame Black women. But what was made to shame was turned into something that only enhanced their beauty!

Think about this for a minute. Almost my entire life I was told I didn't have "good hair" and then to learn there was a time when our hair was so beautiful they made a law to try to cover it up! Keep being the beautiful, elegant, stylish Black Women that the world yearns to be.
