#meanwhile ...in Kansas City

Fixed dinner tonight just as a gesture:
- Broiled crab cakes from scratch
- Sautéed broccoli in light olive oil, sea salt, and soy sauce
- Mashed garlic/onion potatoes (red bliss, boiled, hand mashed, olive oil, sea salt, milk)
- Champagne
- Chocolate covered strawberries
- Double chocolate raspberry cake

I damn near set the house on fire, I thought I was using parchment paper under the crab cakes, instead it was wax paper! Shiiiiiiyaaaaat! (I'm glad she walked in!) the crab cakes were banging!

She really enjoyed the meal! I didn't tell her I was going to do it, I just did it....

Well Dang!
