I heard black men say
Their dream girl is light skin girl
More vanilla, more yellow….
And it’s not all black men
But there’s some bad tone in the statement….

What do I mean by that,
Cos in the black community
Black people puts light skins on the top
And dark skins on the bottom….
Sayin light skin is more beautiful….
Cos it’s closer to white, closer to European…..
They still think European is the high standard….
Do you know where the ideologies came from?

They used to create dark skin vs light skin wars….
Which it doesn’t make sense….
Why would I wanna fight a dark skinned person
And for what?
Nobody is better than nobody….

So the owners puts light skins in the house
And dark skins on the field….
They told the light skins to disrespect the dark skins
And vice versa….it does continue on with this dumb ass

Though Africa has a lot of beautiful dark skinned people
