Sometimes “uncomfortable” means learning things we were scared to learn before. Imagine how terrified the Ancestors were when they were learning to read & write English in secret? What if their fear took over & NONE of them learned? Where would we be today?

We need to learn about how Fascism hurts us & how to find Black psychological healers. I know that makes folk uncomfortable, but it’s NECESSARY.

I used to know David when I lived in New Orleans. The Southern male mentality puts Black people in a position where we constantly have to apologize for being free and having fun, so the respectability politics need to go.

I don't even know why I care I'm getting sidetracked again just need to focus on myself enlighten myself, & be the change I want to see in the world, & stay away from people that are willingly ignorant, & comfortable in their oppression.
