The death is for sales….
Killin our melaninated faces is for the gatherings

On display, on passin around..
Sendin them cross country and borders…
Oh white people, just white people
How can you say you’re superior
If you do those terrible things….

Superior people don’t do these things
To another human….

I hear the song strange fruit
Through these handwritten postcards….

Gator baits, black faces eatin watermelons
You mock us, and the pain the tears

When I learned this on my own
I shook my head, I shook my head
Like are we your souvenirs?
Karma came around
Was like I’m goin to take you
On a guilt trip….

I bet somebody kept that postcard
Even after all the years….
You knew what y’all are doin…

With all the drips of blood all over
Your fingertips…

Geez white America,
You kept them to save as
A memory…

It’s why bloodstains can never come off
Your pale hands…….
Cos y’all know we got scars that pass down
To youth….

How about dead white bodies instead….
And it can be like art prints
That sells over over the world…

White people will cry
Say it’s reverse racism
