Happy Disabilities Pride Month.
As a special needs father I can tell you in the beginning I was totally lost in the diagnoses. With Zach, we saw a change in him after his MMR vaccine. That hurt watching the light in his eyes dull & start to flicker out. With Aaron, we knew in the womb so with all the worst case scenarios given to us we didn't know what to expect. But here we are 16 years later with Aaron and Zach is going to be 19. This journey I'm glad we wasn't on our own. Family, friends and our parent support group My Time Inc spearheaded by the beautabulous Lucina Clarke. My Time Inc isn't just a resource center but we found our community. Now the boys are thriving, growing into themselves. So with that I'd like to wish all my special needs families a HAPPY DISABILITIES PRIDE MONTH!!!

I'm sitting here with my daughter she is 13 explaining to her the importance of buying black and the importance black ownership. I used this site as an example I sat her next to me while I went on my profile and searched my friends list and her eyes lit up. This all black social media site ( Melenated People) means so much to me and I'm proud to share with my daughter as she enters her teenage years!!!!!!!
