I think they changed it
To intellectual disability
or somethin…
but the word retard means stupid
Or slow or “special”

Nobody likes that word
Not even me
So we don’t say it in public

For a handicapped person
I would say a brain don’t function the way other
Brains function…
It’s why it is disability
Also a body is deformed yet it doesn’t mean
You’re dumb…

People with disabilities
Are still normal…
And people out there in the world
Are still think
We’re retards
We’re not normal
We don’t belong here in today’s society
Which is heartbreakin…

I ignored them in despite of
Hurt feelings
Even the stares
I turned the other cheek
And be like whatever….

Come to think of it
Stares are stalker gazes….
And we do deal with that a lot….

I can say
This
You can’t say retard
But you can say nigger
Dependin on situations

I’m just curious. I don’t like that word. Why does it have to be a medical term still?

Im naturally a distant person. I swear I don’t mean to offend anybody. I really just be in my own little world. That’s just how true introverts are. We’ll cancel plans on your ass just to vibe alone because introverts have a threshold for sensory processing. This means we need A LOT of time & space alone to prevent overstimulation. Introverts aren’t being “fake” or acting funny towards you, we just don’t care for small talk.
