The reason why you feel
Uncomfortable with my poems
Is that I tell the truth…..
Why are you readin my poems
In the first place?
Why are you here
Examin my words
When you should be mindin
Your business?

You see
Ignorance ain’t goin to
Keep me on my toes….
You don’t like the truth….
The truth triggers you
It’s why you wanna say

I said no
I don’t wanna put my
Poems off my display
You can snitch if you want
I still say no

Call the cops
And I always say no…..
Why?
Cos other people wanna read them
Too…
So i said fuck no…..

So what
I listen to people’s experiences
And history
And racism….
I go ahead and write about
What I observe….

What have I observed
Expression
Actions
Misbehaviors
Even words

And I fuckin google and i come up
With my own conclusions….

For your own information
You should do your own readin
When is the last time you went to library?
For me I haven’t gone in a long time

But I know what I’m talkin

You may disagree
That’s ok
Stay in your ignorant lane
Don’t come over
And change my mind

DON’T FUCKIN GASLIGHT

JUST COS YOUR ASS IS FEELIN
GUILTY….

Here’s the kicker,
When people talk about ableism
There are amount of praises
Everyone feels comfortable
Though when you talk about racism
It’s a shut down….a huge shut down
Like be quiet
Don’t wanna hear about it
Somehow
People do listen and feel bad
About it…feelin like a coward without
An integrity….

I don’t wanna be
A coward with no integrity….

I don’t wanna stop writin
And Sharin my poems
Cos of certain people
Caucasians
Even other races who side with
White supremacy
Who are ignorant….

I don’t want anybody
To shut the fuck up to my face
In a polite way
In so many other words….

My poems do talk about race
A lot…my poems talk about black people
And our anger from the heart….

If that doesn’t give you
A comfort zone
Then keep your eyes off my
Stanzas….
You can ban me all you want
But the bottom line
Is
You need to leave my
Poetic justice alone….

It’s another scenario in my head. I always have scenarios in my head all the time and I put them into poems. Not all of them are true but I do imagine myself in somebody’s else shoes dealing with ignorance and the gaslighting. I think about racism a lot as many of you. I don’t wanna be told not to write poems about racism. I don’t wanna be told that white people have feelings and they’re fragile because of what they’ve done in the past. Yet they’re still doing the things that harms black people and other nonwhite people. I tell it like it is… I don’t like white privilege…if someone uses that on me only to shut me up, i will continue to write and expose racism. I’m not going to be a coward not to speak about racism. Everybody can talk about ableism, it seems comfortable from what I observed. When it comes to race, the whole room gets red and full on denial. We get told to be quiet. We get manipulated to us to hush. If my observation on ableism is wrong meaning people are comfortable, yes and no. Though we can talk about ableism because we’re comfortable speaking up about it. That’s what I witnessed for the most part.
