Remember you don't need a degree are education to become a historian. Teach yourself it pays off. Choose a part of history rather it be artifacts, art relics, antique whatever, money is still to be made. Big money if you know what to look for. You can even start a museum in your own home. I posted a year ago that we are winning in the courts for restitution. They do not honor the word Reparation but like history words change every day. Yes Native Americans are getting land back. Some are even paying for it. Money is also and have been for many years received yearly for the five civilized tribes and other's recognize by the federal government. You have to be a citizen of the tribe to get it on the reservationd. Trace your roots and they are making it harder to do each year since some tribes really all got greedy for money and don't want to share. But get the proof of ancestry and get your money. It's not easy they are working on it every day. Start your research if that's what you want.
