This year’s summer of record-breaking heat set another milestone Monday when a buoy in Manatee Bay just off the coast southwestern Florida registered an ocean temperature of 101.1 degrees Fahrenheit. Trinidad and Tobago is preparing to welcome royalty :
The Monarch of the Ashanti Kingdom, The Asantehene, His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II of Ghana will be visiting from July 30th to August 5th and will be the guest of honour at our 2023 Emancipation Celebrations. His visit follows Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley extending an invitation to The Asantehene in March 2020 during his visit to Ghana, for that country’s 63rd Independence celebrations hosted in the Ashanti Region. According to the Office of the Prime Minister, The Asantehene expressed his eagerness to visit Trinidad and Tobago, his anticipation of the establishment of an Ashanti village in Trinidad and Tobago, and the formation of linkages between the Caribbean and Ghana. Ghana’s royal ties to Trinidad and Tobago can be dated as far back as 1881 with the arrival of Prince Kofi Nti, of Ashantee, West Africa. In 1883, Prince Kofi Nti designed a Signal Station which was built at Fort St. George, Port of Spain.
The 20th Anniversary of the Million Man March “Justice or Else”, sometimes abridged as “Justice or Else” or stylized as “Justice or Else!”, was a rally held at the National Mall, in Washington, D.C., on October 10, 2015 to commemorate the twentieth anniversary of the Million Man March.
With no lack of love, honor and raspect for Min. Louis Farrakhan and the N.O.I., I’m curious to know about whatever became of the “Or Else” and boycotting part of the program? It’s just that I’ve noticed no boycotting or significant changes or progress for the black race afterwards is all. 🤷🏾♂️
